Dermafile™ is a skin polishing and resurfacing tool made of stainless steel and finely crushed diamonds. This file lightly polishes the skin by hand, removing the top layer of dead skin cells, and leaving velvety smooth, fresh, rejuvenated skin. It is a very effective tool for treating aging and sun damaged skin, scars, acne scarring, pigmentation, stretch marks, fine lines and enlarged and clogged pores.
Microdermabrasion helps to thicken your collagen, which results in a younger-looking complexion. Collagen is a protein in your skin that’s abundant when you’re a child and makes skin appear taut and smooth. Collagen production declines as we age, resulting in looser, uneven skin.
A chemical solution is applied to the skin, which makes it “blister” and eventually peels off. The new skin is usually smoother and less wrinkled than the old skin.
Enzyme peels accelerate the process of skin cell replacement by accelerating the chemical reactions necessary to bring forth newer, plumper cells and to rid the skin of the older, dead cells.
